Missions Missions 2013-2014

Jerusalem (City)
City of Goodyear: (Ongoing) The Refinery has adopted Goodyear Community Park each month (typically the third Saturday of the month), to clean it up and make a footprint in the community. This clean up is the first step in developing a relationship with our neighborhood and its citizens. For more information, click here.
New Life Center: (Ongoing) Every year, The Refinery assists in meeting the needs of the Center at Christmas. The New Life Center is a shelter for Domestic Violence victims and their children. For more information, click here.
Streetlight: (Ongoing) a non-profit organization designed to unite local churches to eradicate child sex slavery in Phoenix by providing a "safe house" where healing can begin. Those rescued from Domestic Sex Trafficing will recieve treatment in a highly structured enviorment with 24 hour supervision for victims ages 11-17. For more information, click here.
Judea (Country)
Las Vegas, NV Sept 12th-15th (est. cost $250 plus meals and travel)
Registration and $100 deposit due by July 7th. Balance of $150 due by Sept 1st.
We will be traveling to Las Vegas, NV to assist The Verve (a local church). You will see and experience Verve first hand. You will get to spend time with their staff, hear their vision, help get the word out about Verve in the community, assist with local service projects, and more. Minors (age 14 and up) can participate and must be accompanied by an adult for this trip.
Samaria (Continent)
Mexico (1 Mission) November 8th-11th ($250 plus travel)
Registration and $125 deposit due by Sept 29th. Balance of $125 balance due by Oct 27th. Join us as we travel to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico to build a house in just three days. In the barrios, there are thousands of families living in homes made of cardboard, pallets, and other scraps found in the landfill. We have the opportunity to build an adequate shelter for those in need. Minors (2nd grade and up) can participate and must be accompanied by an adult for this trip.
Ends of the Earth (World)
Ireland (Cross Ireland Ministries) July 1st-9th (est. cost $2100)
Registration and $300 deposit due by March 17th. Balance of $1800 due by May 19th. We will be traveling to Limerick, Ireland to assist Elevate Community Church. The team will be working alongside this ministry in Limerick and helping reinforce their growing partnership with the city of Limerick through community projects. The city has a four day festival planned to celebrate the 4th of July and we will be assisting with this event. In addition, we will serve the people in the community, participate in a prayer walk throughout the city, and help Elevate with anything they need. Minors (age 14 and up) can participate and must be accompanied by an adult for this trip.
Dominican Republic (G.O. Ministries) March 11th-18th, 2014 (est. cost $1800)
Registration and $300 deposit due by Oct 13th, 2013. Balance of $1500 due by Feb 2nd, 2014. We will travel to Santiago, DR to work with G.O.-Ministries. While there we will be assisting with construction projects and working with children through the daily food program and sports program. Minors (age 14 and up) can participate and must be acompanied by an adult for this trip.
