What is "Serve"?

Using your Gifts, Time and Energy to make a difference in the Kingdom is called SERVING.  The act of SERVING is spoken of hundreds of times in the Bible.  Placing others first connects you to something larger than yourself (the Kingdom).  Jesus, himself, said that He came to serve, not to be served.  Here at The Refinery, there are countless ways to place the Kingdom first in your family while making a difference in the world.

How Do I Serve?

1.  Identify your gifts.  What are your strengths and abilities?  How can you use these for God?  (1 Peter 4:10)

2.  Evaluate your time.  Sign up to start serving.  This will require that you stop other things in your life.  (Matthew 6:33)

3.  Make a difference.  Become larger than yourself as you grow through your service.  (Ephesians 6:7)
