Jill and I became a part of Refinery after moving back to Arizona in 2021. We have found love, acceptance and much-needed rest here.

For 40 years, I was a Pastor serving churches in California, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. In 2021, I began a business as a Notary Loan Signing Agent, and most recently taught Second Grade in a local charter school.

I am excited about reentering ministry to help the Refinery serve “Active Adults” (people 55 and further) and to oversee pastoral care. I love to help people discover and enter relationships with Jesus and to help them let God love them, and love others through them.

Jill and I have been married since 1978. Our 2 grown daughters, Angela and Bethany, both live in the area with their husbands and our 5 perfect grandchildren. Our third daughter Cayla passed away from a chronic blood disease at age 4 1/2.

I enjoy traveling to new places with my wife, spending time with my kids and grandkids, reading, and the beach. I do not enjoy shoveling snow, eating green peas, or shoveling snow while eating green peas.

Ask me about my years as a radio preacher and the time my plane was diverted and surrounded by soldiers with machine guns.
